| Wood Acquiring
high-quality domestic wood is an extremely essential and demanding
stage in my work as a cabinetmaker. The material has to be
carefully selected among the finest woods to obtain the best
product quality and smooth visual appearance. To ensure the
availability of raw materials, a cabinetmaker has to be in
close co-operation with the wood producers and suppliers.

In addition to domestic woods, I also use other northern
hardwoods. Those are e.g. rowan, aspen, alder, goat willow,
lime tree, oak, bird cherry and elm.
A versatile use of different wood types is a vital part of
my work. Every wood has a nature of its own giving me boundless
opportunities to work for individual solutions.
